What to Bring When You Drop Off Your Vehicle at TLC

Dropping your vehicle off is the step that starts everything. The assessment, the documentation, and the file we build for your insurance provider all begin the day the car arrives at our Denver shop.

Bring these five things: your driver's license, your insurance policy declarations page (full coverage is required — liability will not cover a total loss claim), your claim number if you've already filed, both sets of keys, and your current mileage.

If you haven't filed a claim yet, that's fine. We'll walk you through the process at the shop. Many customers prefer to start the claim with us so nothing gets misstated on the first call.

Getting the vehicle here is easier than most people expect. We offer valet service within the Denver Metro, towing if the vehicle is inoperable or has a broken windshield, and an Uber or Lyft to your home or work if you don't have a ride after drop-off.

Your vehicle stays with us while the claim is processed, so we can provide the free assessment to your insurance provider. Once you and your insurer agree on terms and the claim settles, TLC pays you an additional $250.
